If a person is in the position of Dir of Maint at a PT.135 operation,and does NOT hold a FAA A&P certificate,what happens when they "sign off" on aircraft maint logs???????
If the operation also has a repair station license they would do it under that authorization much like many 121 airlines do-or at least did in the past.
