A quick question....but, what is the main difference between the Garmin 195 GPS and the Garmin III GPS. Both have moving maps, both are grey scale screens. I can't quite figure what the main differences out.

Basically, just size. My first GPS was the 195. I thought I needed the big screen for all my time building, but after you take that thing in and out of an airplane a thousand times, it gets too big. I use the III now and love it. It does everything I need it to without the size.

I use a 195 on parts of my pipeline patrol routes. I chose it over the III because it has a bigger memory for track histories, and a faster map redraw rate. Go to Garmin's website and see if you can compare the specs. There are several differences, but both units work very well.
