30 hours of Dual and some sim and I did my solo!!! The ladnings were a bit shaky need to work on my cross wind landing, feels really unnatural to yake the yoke banked left or right when couple of feet from the ground.

Congrats!

Remember, when airspeed decreases so does flight control effectiveness. Keep that airspeed up until about ten feet off the ground. That will keep you in control all the way to the ground. Start your level-off from ten feet up and plenty before touch down point. Now flare as you speed decreases.

Keep up the good work Pete!

Congrats... Have fun fly safe in time all will correlate and become second nature with many hundreds of fun hours behind the yoke/stick.

the best day of my life when i soloed, congrats man.
i don't know if you wanna be cfi but it also feels kind of the same when you solo someone else. great feeling.

Im American and I still have a very thick accent, to be quite honest if Im gonna teach somebody Im not gonna do it half assed, Im not sure I will make a good instructor.

Don't beat yourself up too bad. There are many students out there who are ready to learn and because of their determination they will learn in spite of an accent. What hinders the student is a CFI who just wants to build time. If teaching, mentoring, or leadership are in you, don't hold out on us.

Though I must say, there are many students who find it hard to find fault with themselves. I've known many students who have complained unfairly about their CFI being too soft spoken, too demanding, too laid back, too etc.. These are times when you'll need to build a very strong relationship of trust.

You may other plans that exclude being a CFI, but if the opportunity comes, don't turn it down for fear's sake.

Enjoy the rest of your training

Congrats!!! Remember there are three things that you can not use (1) The runway behind you(2) the altitude above you , and most Important(3) the fuel you left on the ground! ;)
