I cuurently fly at Certified Flyers II and they took delivery of a Diamond Twin... Great Aircraft but 160 true.. I think I paid $330/hr. G1000 was sweet!!! Center stick was different... There web ... www.certifiedflyers.com...

G1000 looks Cool and is nice but has some major bugs! I would take Steam Gages any day over a G1000. Diamond Twin Star with them Jet-A burning Engines makes for a Great Airplane.
 
That seems a little steep for 12gph Jet-A. I realize the plane set them back $600k, but over $300/hr is quite a bit.

Yeah, $300 sounds a tiny bit high, but you'd be surprised how expensive these things are to purchase, operate, and insure. As far as performance goes, it'll be a real airplane when they put another 25hp on each side.

lol oh trust me, I'm very aware of the cost. I wonder how many hours / month (year) they figure at $300/hr as far as covering the cost + adding some profit.

For $330/hr, lets hope the instructor is getting paid well...

It's really a shame that it's nearly impossible for someone to actually make a living teaching others how to fly.
