Has any other companies heard about loosing their runs after the hub merger??

I haven't heard anything from AMF, but I know ACC is loosing GRR by the middle of may, and ATI will be done by the end of summer. My connection at AMF says they are expecting heavy losses.

Any other people been giving the pink slip?

Latest word is that we'll hear on Monday what happening at AMF

Not really sure about this, but I would imagine that the routes that are duplicated by feeders (I think ameriflight flies dsm-bmi-cvg?) would be cancelled. There is almost certainly going to have to be some left to the cities where ABX or Astar doesn't or can't fly to.

I was surprised ACC was loosing Grand Rapids so soon! They seem pretty confident they will get some outstation stuff from DHL though.

As for Skagway, I bet Uncle Tom will be sold out by the end of the year. The pic of 381 in Carabex colors on airliners.net is pretty funny!

And then there is poor ol' Air Tahoma..... rumor is DHL will have them kicked out by the end of summer! Bet they will be glad to not have the 240's leak Convair dung on their ramp in ILN.

There will ALWAYS be feeder routes, but I can't see alot of them comming into the new hub. My thought is there will be alot more outstation to outstation runs, where the feeder meets a ABX/ASTAR airplane.

On a funny note, you know what you get when you add a B to the front and a D to the end of ASTAR?(I read that in that SLOW elevator at the old hub some time ago....)

Enjoy

There aren't many feeders in ILN now. Two Shorts, two Falcons and sometimes a B1900, I think. We see more feeders at the outstations.
