I was flying today with several aircraft that were denied from flying the approach in to DFW. All ended up diverting to other airports
The weather was 1/4 mile 100OVR with a RVR value of 2200. With the RVR value as it was, we were legal to fly the approach. They blocked everything except CAT II and III.
Usually it's the pilot that cannot accept the approach, this time the controllers were the ones.
Has this happened at other facilities? Is there increased spacing when going to CAT III?
