Des Moines Corporate Departments???

Anyone have any info on corporate flight departments in the Des Moines area?

Townsend Engineering? Don't know anything, other than they milked their Citation X for some good free publicity (Discovery wings channel program, on the portfolio for the artist who designed their paintjob). I think they're based out of Des Moines Flying Service.

Would that be Pella Windows? Don't know if they have a Citation, but they're located about 60 miles from Des Moines.

Pioneer HiBred. Owned by DuPont by independant operation. They have 2 Lear 45's?

Hy vee has 2 CJs and a King Air

Farm Bureau has a couple of king airs and a beech jet

Meredith publishing has Lear Jets

Principal Financial has Citiations

American Equity has a Falcon 10 and a King air 90

Townsend Engineering has a Citation X

Rassmussen Group has a Falcon 20

These are all I can think of off the top of my head.

Forgot about Principal - my sister used to work there (as a fund manager) - she used to bump into my old PPL flight instructor when she flew - I think she said she was flying on a turboprop (which I took to mean a King Air, it could have been a Cheyenne - Des Moines Fly is the nation's oldest Piper dealer).

Thanks for all the info to everyone. Looking to get into the corporate stuff in that area in a year or so possibly. Probably have to do part 135 down there and rub some elbows for a corporate gig.
