Dennis Hafke the former head crew scheduler over at Evergreen passed away a few weeks ago after a very short battle with cancer.

Anyone that knew Dennis will be tremendously saddened by this news. He was by far the best crew scheduler I have EVER worked for. Dennis always kept the crews in mind and treated everyone in a fair and respectful manner….thereby gaining the respect and admiration of all the flight crews that knew and worked with him. Dennis had the uncanny ability to commit to memory entire monthly flight schedules, and even was known to compile the monthly bid in his head, before running the bids through the computer.

He left Evergreen last year and had recently married Janet, another Evergreen Crew Scheduler.

Dennis, you will be missed.

That's really sad. I always enjoyed working with Dennis. He was very kind. When I was there, Janet had a temper from hell. Hard to imagine her and Dennis together. I suppose people do change. I'll be in PDX next week. I think I'll drop in and say hi to some old colleagues.

Wow, terrible news indeed. Spent a few years in the zone and had nothing but total respect for Dennis and his great work as a scheduler. Guess I will be sending my respects to Janet. Sad to hear indeed...
