I thought the Pilots were the only unionized group at mainline Delta??

Delta's Flight Superintendents Reach Tentative Agreement
Tuesday October 26, 3:25 pm ET

ATLANTA, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL - News) and the Professional Airline Flight Control Association (PAFCA), the union which represents Delta's 185 flight superintendents, have reached a tentative agreement on new contract terms. "Delta is pleased that it has reached a tentative agreement with PAFCA leaders, and we are hopeful that Delta's flight superintendents will ratify the agreement. This is an important building block in Delta's Transformation Plan, as we work diligently to return our company to viability through long- term annual cost savings, operational efficiency and customer-focused products and services."

I knew we had a dispatcher union, and I think the ground school guys were trying to unionize, but who the heck are these people? Flight superintendants? I think that is a term for the dispatchers. Well, good for them, I think?

Yea I think you're right about it being dispatchers?

Are they taking paycuts? Anyone know? The press release doesn't really say.
