RECALL/ADVANCE ENTITLEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT
January 14, 2005

The company has announced today that there will be both a resumption of recalls and the posting of an Advance Entitlement in the near future.

All pilots are urged to update their Advance Entitlement preferences in DBMS. Furloughed pilots are urged to update the Short Notice Recall list as appropriate.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is "Advance Entitlement?"

An Advance Entitlement is a "vacancy opening" of particular seats/eqp.
Hope that helps. And yes this is awsome news for the furloughees!

That's great news! I'll tell the Wellesley to leave the light on for you guys . . . . . Welcome back.

Great news for you guys!! congrats. AMR is kinda recalling also. They are calling it flowback and it shrinks the mainline while building up their low cost carrier-- Eagle. In the process it screws Eagle FOs out of upgrade. Anybody heard any news on the sale of Eagle?

They've got the Atlanta media on their side, and they don't show up to work drunk. Sounds like they're poised to take it out on Air Tran.

Darn! In the past all we had to worry about was cutting off AirTran on the taxiways now it looks like we will have to cut off Delta as well.
