A Northwest guy, huh? Don't know him at all, but I have heard about how well liked management is over at NWA. Hope that won't be the case for Delta.

Nevermind...

First do some homework. Anderson was very well liked at NWA before leaving for UnitedHealth Group in 2004. They promoted the "heavies" at NWA after he left. However, he started his career in aviation as in-house counsel at Continental. So that means as a lawyer, he is a scum sucking, lowlife like all the other POS lawyers out there.

So....is he good or bad?

He did a great job at NWA....destroyed the airline and led it into bankruptcy. Makes sense, he deserves the promotion. Maybe now we can get rid of United Health Care for our benefits!

We have UHC insurance. If they treat their employees like their policy-holders don't expect much.

UHC is the ASA of insurers. Actually ASA is better, really.

Anderson was well liked at NWA, and he is well known in the industry. We are very happy that Ed Bastian wasn't given the CEO post, since he is anti-pilot. (although he was given the President post and still has the CFO post). Overall, it was a good choice.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Does this mean Delta going back into bankruptcy
Probably not based on this one isolated tid bit of news, but it does obviously mean instability as a new, outsider, comes in. Obviously Anderson will make changes. What Greenstein, Whitehurst and Bastian, has been doing has been working - even in the face of fuel costs much higher than forecast.

From the DCI perspective, this will probably be the change that will result in an ownership change at Comair, if such a thing is going to happen, ever.

General, that's not really true. In comparison to Steenland, he's the frickin' mesiah, but that's not saying very much. Anderson is a smart manager, and a good politician, but he's not pro-labor by any stretch of the imagination. You would have been much better off with Whitehurst.

More importantly...I wonder what HIS new paint job for Delta will look like. I guess that will eventually make four liveries on property not including all the green and pink Song planes.
