flybige said:It is a shame it has gone this far but management has no one to blame but themselves. If the pilots do strike (and I think they should) it will send a message to the airlines that enough in enough. Unfortunately, management will probably still get bonuses and their golden parachutes while the guys/gals that work everyday will get hurt the most. Somebody needs to make a standy or we are all going to be working for minimum wage with no benefits just so joe blow can buy a $30 ticket.
Right on!!!
Has anyone brought up the notion that management is full of S**T?
How many other airline managements' have said this same thing recently and have gotten what they wanted?
It's time that pilots stand up to management and force them to find another avenue for cost savings. I feel that Delta, once the pilots strike, would initiate a back-up plan and quickly fold to end the strike. If done quickly, their losses would be minimal. A strike would not spell the end, but a long strike would. BIG DIFFERENCE!!
Guys, it's a poker game and management could be bluffing. It's your call!!!
