Anyone heard of delta proposing a 20/30% pay increase for relaxing scope to 100 seats or more? Don't bash me general, heard it from a couple of people. I might try to head to big D in the future and wonder about the hiring there if so?

Didn't they already propose this a while back? And the pilots turned it down?

5 pages minimum.

40% is my magic number. Now that I've flown big planes why would I want to fly small ones again?

Mesa sucks! And so does mainline scope!

so a 121 regional FO works for you the rest of your career?

No, simply I don't have any 'major airline dreams'...so watching them sell their scope or anything else doesn't give me any heartburn at all.

I heard this one about a year ago. When is D-day for their contract?

In other news........ Santa is coming to town.

Just remember this: IF YOU GIVE UP SCOPE, YOU WILL NEVER GET IT BACK... You have been warned.

if it were to happen you can kiss your mainline dreams goodbye forever.

Not so fast...I would argue the posters main line job is already gone. I'm going to bet the poster is a HE, Northern European American, and has well over the 6000 t.t. that Delta filters out.

So knowing that, why not hope for bigger airplanes at his regional. I know this fight has already been fought but really. The day regionals tell Alpa to pound sand is the day they no longer have control of thier competor.

I've been slowly changing my opinion. Delta (ALPA) has already decided flows don't work. Rather, they have collectivly said that your on your own...

It's time for pilots at the regionals realize what pilots at the majors have figured out a long time ago. The bigger the plane the bigger the pay. If you want the pay get the plane...It will be MUCH MUCH more easy that getting the major job....

Just a thought...

I seem to remember this rumor awhile back, and after the mainline guys were "supposedly" offered this and said NO, Delta promptly sold Mesaba and Compass. I don't think this continuing rumor is true.
