Hah....here comes the kicker: "Organized under the name Delta Pilots Association, the pilots' group believes this crossover of representation for large and small carriers is a conflict of interest for ALPA."

Is that not what the RJDC tried to prove years ago, that there was a conflict of interest in here? If it wasn't so sad, it would be too funny!!!

I think there's a huge conflict of interest. I'm hoping once we get this merger done, we'll have a lot of movement away from ALPA. They've done nothing for us except take our money. Greedy pigs they are.........

Yep.... When we all took concessions you didn't have them chip in and help lower anything for us. Wonder if there 80k a year secretaries took any paycuts. It's a money making machine. Like the mafia! Times are hard, so what.... Pay us!!!! Such bs!

Majors & regionals all part of one giant useless union IS a huge conflict of interest! Saw that Prater bum a couple of years ago on the tv making a grandstanding speech about how he fully supports United's fight against "their" flying being contracted out to cheaper carriers. But yet, they will gladly take a part of every dollar we make! I just hope the Delta pilots have a good plan in place. Wouldn't mind seeing the ALPA regional carriers do the same thing.

I've been, (foolishly), hoping that skywest would go union using alpa then skw asa and xjt can their azzes and form our own union. Wouldn't that send a nice message.

Perhaps if the "turds" didn't have their noses up so high they'd dround in a rain shower about us connection pilots and tried to help bring us together I might buy that statement. But then again I was told I wasn't good enough to be part of the "grandfathering" of the flow through and I should wait my turn. ( Just like I would have in a flow ) I get the crapstorm that happened because of Comair back in 01, Newsflash, We aren't all Comair and honestly that strike, actually showed more backbone in 3 months than Genny Lee and OH You's Arse have shown in a career. The NWA guys showed that they were understanding the garbage management was pulling while also understanding the future market dynamics. ( hint, look at what AMR is doing with Eagle. Good luck staffing in a few years without merging us lowly regional pilots into your ops). TURDS, keep the holier than thou attitudes up and enjoy 11 days off a month working every holiday and most weekend cause you can't staff for better. The key isn't to keep this stupid idea that regional pilots are somehow worse than mainline, we all need to be fightning for sucess under the same brands and contracts. Look at the more sucessful places, Jet Blue and Soutwest. (spread the wealth and work to make everyone happy instead of the senior get everything and 'eventually you'll get there and think the same' attitudes)

:puke:ALPA brought us age 65, I am so greatful that I have been given the opportunity to continue working for an additional five years as a regional FO.

Right on. For those people that want to know why they have been stuck in the same position for the last 4 years.....the bright side is there is only 1 year to go.

ALPA didn't bring you age 65, ICAO brought it to the table and the FAA shoved it down everyone's throats.

Thank God. I'm sick of living between a Waffle House and a porn shop. I've developed have high cholesterol, hypertension, and Carpal Tunnel. I just want a normal life.

Pop tarts and beer my friend, high five!

Wouldn't it be odd for Moak, a delta pilot and leader of ALPA, to have Delta leave the union.
