I fly in and out of ATL all the time. I also fly all over the east coast.

I have really noticed a decrease in the quality of the ATC system. I even think the controllers in ATL sound much more over worked than ever before. I have noticed a few really losing their cool.

I have had a few close calls with other aircraft due to controllers not letting me know about traffic?

What is up? I found this page on the National Air Traffic Controllers site that may help explain what is up. It is the "Fly Us Safe Campaign". I am going to make the phone call and emails. Maybe many of you other pilots should do the same.

Takin from another website....It appears the FAA is looking into PFT for employment!!! They're looking into having prospective employees pay for their initial training at the Academy to be considered for employment.

I think there is a difference between paying $30,000 for a job that pays $15,000 a year and paying for a job that pays $120,000 a year.
