What is deck angle? I am studying stuff and don't have a clue what it is? Also anyone know the critical angle of attack for a CRJ?

Generally speaking, it is the pitch angle you see on your artificial horizon. If you need a +6 degrees to maintain 220 KIAS and you want to climb out at that speed on a 5 degree angle, then you would need a deck angle of +11 degrees (+6 +5).

Are you studying for the Pinnacle interview written?

Deck Angle isn't particularly an official term. It is strange they ask you what it is.
