Hey all...

I'm looking for anything in the Dallas/Ft Worth or Oklahoma City area that will pay at least $35k. My fiance wants out of MN (she is a southern girl) and I am trying to oblige (spelling) her.

I have 1900 TT, all multi engine turbine in military aircraft. Plus I am a reservist, so if you know if that will hurt or help my chances with the company you suggest, please let me know that too.

Thanks

Not trying to be a jackass here, but you really ought to go where your career takes you, and make your fiancee just deal with it. Jobs are hard to find.

You only get ONE airline career: You can always replace the woman.

Lame!!

Check out avianation.com, they have lots of job listings. They have one in Dallas for Avantair, should meet your salary requirements.

Dude, all I'm saying is MOST guys (you know, the 80% of us who don't have a drama-free sweet as a peach woman in a rock solid relationship) would be better off not letting women steer their career decisions. I adopted that philosophy years ago, and looking back after two divorces and several psychos, that was a really smart move.

Women come and go. You have to live with the consequences of your career decisions for the rest of your life.

I understand your sentiments. I have way too many of my buds in the military who are on their 3-6 wives. but this is a move we both really want to make, and I have been getting some great leads on PMs and in other subforums... so thank you all, and please keep the leads coming... I'm hopeful something will work out.

Living in DFW or OKC wouldn't be too bad if you were based IAH for CAL.

Where can your herc buddies get you in? Are you coming off of AD or have you always been reserves?

Yeah I am going to apply to CAL... I've just always seemed to be more interested in the business jet side of things. I do have a few buddies over there. I am reserve now... have been for almost 2 years... prior to that 5 years active duty.
