Voting started today. Votes must be in by the end of May 31st.

OUR RECORDS INDICATE THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY CAST A BALLOT AS FOLLOWS.

Delta Letter #51 Tentative Agreement Ratification Ballot (05-2006)

I have reviewed the information provided by the Delta MEC regarding the Letter #51 Tentative Agreement. My vote on the question of ratification is: (Vote for One)
I am AGAINST Letter #51 Tentative Agreement.

voted no as soon as balloting opened. Done my part. At least I can look myself in the mirror and be secure I did not sell out the bottom half of the list for the promise of some money.

I would personally like to thank those DAL pilots that are voting nay. Having said that, given the spread on the NWA TA which was far worse than yours and passing by leaps and bounds...yours too will pass.

Hi!

To those DAL pilots who've voted no:

Do U think the failure to reach an agreement will cause DAL to go Chapter 7?

If not, what do U think will happen?

Good luck!

Cliff
YIP

PS-I'd like to thank Delta for getting my wife and I from GRB-Warsaw on our frequent flyer miles. We're going GRB-DTW-EWR(nwa):JFK-CDG(dal)-WAW(air france and then returning WAW-CIA(al italila)-JFK(dal):EWR-DTW-GRB(nwa).

Voting no is not a failure to reach an agreement, it's a rejection of what has been agreed to. The neutral arbitrators have said that if this TA is rejected, then they will rule on whether to reject the contract by June 14. That's two weeks to negotiate another TA. The neutrals or the judge can also grant an extension like has been done with other airlines.

If not, what do U think will happen?

Well, besides the fact that I believe the TA will probably pass, if we got back to near a strike I believe neither the managment nor the creditors are willing to let the company go CH7 over buying DCI more RJ's or not. Nor will they be willing to shut down over The approx. $25 million and selling out the furloughees is valued at. JMO though.

My vote is that he has the best Avatar!

That's something I'll vote YES on! :D TC

I am on military leave and cannot vote on something that will effect 16 of the next 17 years of my life.

If any of you flying the line are flying with some fence sitters, please ask them to vote no for me.....

It will be another glorious day to see another pilot group agreeing to save themselves instead of marching to the unemployment line in vein.

Greetings from under the bus. Other than deleting the recall guarantee, and allowing the 76 seaters to go to DCI, what other elements in the TA pork us furloughees??

Please have someone vote no for ME on this - from a furloughee!!!!!!!!!!
I have a better chance of getting recalled if this DOES NOT pass!!!!!
Share my opinion with the line folks...I bet they think we want it to pass.

I talked to my friend (we were sim partners at CMR). He was told, "you don't want to fly that little jet, it won't pay enough". His response was, "then what makes you think I would want preferential hiring to fly for $19/hr if I don't want to fly the thing as a captain for $95/hr? They are throwing me under the bus".

This will definately be an interesting vote. The free thinker movement is starting to pick up steam. Notice how almost everyone on this board voted no for the TA at comair yet it still passed. The free thinkers generally tend to avoid the forums as they have been over run by the angry minority mob mentality. Heres to hoping the guys vote for whats best for them and what gives them the best chance at saving the company  see ya on election day.

Hey DUHangeloser....Leave the voting to the DUES PAYING MEMBERS. You just worry about your job and go back and pick up some open time. How's the f/a training going. You gonna pick up some extra work when they walk off the job,

So out of curiousity why are YOU opposed to letting everyone vote on the issues? Furloughs should be allowed to vote. Probationary people should be allowed to vote(though there are none at your airline) and non dues paying members should be allowed to vote. The people all work for the company not for the union and they have just as much of a stake in it as everyone else. So why arent you answering my question? Why are you personally so afraid of letting EVERYONE voting including probationary members who have no say if they pay dues or not they are simply told not to the 1st year.

Can we all have a vote on ADAMCOOPER returning to his old Avatar? I came back to this thread just to get my "girl-on-girl" fix. A nun, that's just wrong man!

I think all ELIGIBLE (sp) members should vote, after it concerns their future!

Furloughs should be allowed to vote. Probationary people should be allowed to vote(though there are none at your airline) and non dues paying members should be allowed to vote.
Unfortunately, furloughs are just that, not currently employed by the company, thus don't have a say in what happens....Do I think its fair? no, but that's what the rules are!

The people all work for the company not for the union and they have just as much of a stake in it as everyone else. So why arent you answering my question? Becuase that's the difference between closed and open shop! If you had half a brain, you'd understand that! If you're not a current (good standing/non probationary) member, then you have NO say in the CBA that is being voted on!!
So again, why is it that you chose Comair??? You knew they were union, yet you spew your nut drainer with all this useless drivel! You remind me of the rjdc types!

Hey D'Angelo,

Watch what you say to this guy 737 pylt. He whines to the moderators for those who disagree with him. He is nothing but a bitter pathetic loser. He will respond by saying I am chuck/einstien/lawman or whatever. Doesn't change the fact that he is a jackass.

OK, stay with the topic or you'll see the blunt end of our moderator computer-based nightstick...

Well I fI was offered recall to fly a smaller jet as a Capt at $95 an hour I would gladly do that! Better then bumming in the reserves...but $19 an hour? I make a hell of a lot more than that...BUMMING

And it only took 3 posts for you to say all that... You just can't keep your nut drainer shut. Boy you are really obvious. Maybe you should get a pet or something. Will I keep recieving those colorful PM's from you? How many user accounts have you created now?
I agree with Ty Webb, you'll be banned within a week!

Another name to ignore

For the furlough's sake I hope it does not pass. However, it would not suprise me for the senior folk to throw them under the bus. They tend to eat the young in cases like this.

I've flown with a few furloughed guys and they are not bitter about being furloughed, but are about being told one thing over and over again and then this TA comes out.

Hey Mod's get rid of this jerk!

Already warned by the mods hey boy? Who's really the bitter one little boy! I see your true Einstein fashion stays true. Only 4 posts into it and already getting warned! Hey Moderators, I think its time for this little boy's IP address to be logged and get rid of him permanently!
