Satpak77,

That is true, and our managment sold the contracts early for an $83 million profit. Why?

But, please read the part about having a $116 million operating profit had it not been for the early pension funds contribution that didn't really have to be made due to the pension reform. Had we not voluntarily paid the $325 million, then we would have had a profit. Also, this quarter has always been our worst, and even Fitch has said we shouldn't have anymore erosion of our current cash for the rest of the year........

But, a $383 million loss still isn't good. I don't think it will get much worse for the rest of the year, and I hope they start talking soon....

Bye Bye---General Lee:rolleyes:

General

I hope things improve, I have a few buddies over at your place, all good guys

It just gets my rockets fired up when I see airline management try to lay the blame elsewhere

see ya

Satpak77,

I hope it does too. I think these numbers are interesting. And, believe it or not, the vast majority of pilots here would give back some pay to help out--and a good amount too---but we don't want to get taken in the process. They are asking for 40% of our contract now, and really haven't asked for much from the other groups. Take care.

Bye Bye--General Lee;)
