Going to Edmonton, Alberta Sept 10 for a few days. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to stay ? Some place with nice restaurant, lounge or sports bar.

If you have a shotgun bring it and expirence the finest duck and goose hunting in the world. Just fill out the paperwork prior to entering the country.

The season is Sept 1-Oct 15. PS pheasant is not too bad either!

The Westin in downtown was pretty nice.

Plenty of places to drink. There is a really cool Irish bar place right accross from the hotel on a one way street. Anyhow, if your looking for sports bars your going to the right place. Loads of places to watch a hocky game and have a few with some cool friendly people.

If you like running there is a great "river walk" run that starts from the hotel. If you can make it up the stairs from the river to the hotel without stopping you are an animal...

Also I met a really hot/ nice blond while out on my run last time I was there overnight. Haven't been back since but we had a good time.

September must be nice up there.

Do not even think about staying anywhere close to the airport.

Freight Trains go by all the hotels there at 12:00 am
3:30 am, 4:45 am and 6:00 am etc....
They put ear plugs in the rooms on the night stands!!!

NEVER AGAIN !
