I know about the other US crew bases for CX cargo pilots, but I thought I had read somewhere that there was going to be a new domicile in ATL?

Anyone know? It would be nice to stay in the same city, fo a while, if I could ever get on with CX.

Yes it is a domicile, but you would be waiting in line to hold it. I have a friend who works there, he loves it, lives in ATL, but can't hold ATL as a domicile yet. He does start most of his trips out of ATL though.

They are currently recruiting for the NYC freighter domocile. As cheap as fares are these days on Delter or Air Tran, commuting to the 2-3 trips a month wouldn't be too pricey.

Thanks both for the info.
It would definately be a great place to work. And in all reality ATL would be a pretty easy place to commute from.

Jeht...as a side note. Did your friend come from ASA? I'm just trying to get outta here...my blood pressure goes up everytime I get off the bus.

Yes he did. It is kinda of a long process, but stick with it and study hard for the interview, it seems well worth it. Good luck to you!
