United pilots go extra mile as airline struggles
I saw this article in the USA Today a couple of days ago and thought it was pretty funny.
It sure is ironic that it takes an airline to be bankrupt and the employees jobs to be on the line to start showing some customer service to your paying customers.
It sure would be nice for most of the airline pilots to see what "customer service" really is by those of us flying in the corporate world. I think for most of us flying corporate, it is just natural to do and something we don't even think about "having" to do.
I guess when they don;t have to give anymore concessions and the airline gets out of bankruptcy they will go back to there "standard" airline customer service of hiding from there paying customers.
It seems to be just one more thing to help justify our jobs in the corporate world and to keep treating our pax. with top notch customer service.
Happy New Year to all!
