Looks like Cummins diesel is hiring a pilot with Hawker or Dornier 328 experience.

Had a friend flying for them, maybe this is the position to fill the one he left...he seemed pretty happy there. The job is average, but the benefits are tremendous. Worth a look for someone willing to move to Columbus, IN.

Columbus is worth a look. It's a nice, relatively progressive town 45 mi. south of Indianapolis. TC

Have to agree with that, having overnighted there a couple of times I was really impressed. The amount of culture that has been injected (mostly by Cummins) into that small town is staggering. A really pretty city and, as I've been told, really good schools and a solid place for a family. I'd be interested if I was inclined to relocate, it's just not in my cards for at least a few years.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Cummins, as a business, is pretty uniquely poised to do very well for some time. The diesel segment of manufacturing is one of the very few bright spots in the automotive industry, not a bad place to consider a long term career.

there's one person here on flightinfo that has the real 411 on the company and town....you know who you are ;) ...speak up :p

Anyone know what they are replacing their Hawkers with? Possibly CL300?

Replacing the old Hawker 800A's with new 850XP's. Taken delivery of the first one and getting ready to take the 2nd next month. The 3rd will be delivered 3rd QTR '07 I think...

I saw one of their 328's in JHW last week. They go there every Tues and Thurs for the day according to the CSR. Sounds like a great gig.

I used to fly with a guy at PDT that went to work there and seemed to like it.
