A little early, I know, but I'm looking for input on cruise line deals for travel next Spring (April '05) out of FLL. We've never been on a cruise (family of 4 with 2 teenagers) before, so I'm curious about what lines you'd suggest, where's the best place to stay onboard, and suggested ports, and any other tips.

Thanks,

Red

If you are an airline employee, try dargal.com. They have great deals on most lines - but you have to produce an airline ID. (I think it's kind of like non-rev cruise travel) My fam has done 3 through them, no problems.

Just got off a cruise earlier this week. Royal Carribean is a good line. It reallt doesn't matter where you go. You have to be careful because you might find a great deal, but they will get you on the drinks. If you have any adult beverages they will get you. Alot of the people on the cruise I was on had a bigger bar tap then they did cruise price.

Now that's my kind of vacation!

I went on an all inclusive cruise once...it was a 4 day "all 20's" cruise..strangely, RC stopped doing any of those shortly thereafter. I think they realized that a bunch of kids on board + free booze(even though the cruise price was jacked up) = bankruptcy.
