Hey guys,

I know there are a few different definitions of cross country time depending on what you're talking about, which of the following is the cross country time required to operate as PIC under Part 135?

1) Flight to an airport more than 50nm from the original point of departure
2) Flight more than 50nm from the original point of departure (but no landing required)
3) Flight to another airport, with no distance requirement

The 50 rule only applies to ratings and certificates.

FAR 61.1 b 3 A thru d will answer your question.

It then differentiates between X-C and X-C for certificates in the following sections.

Kerosene is absolutely right. Unless you are dealing with the conditions of one of the special definitions used for the requirements for specific certificates or ratings, the general definition (flight to another airport that you didn't run into by mistake) applies.

why in the world would you be asking about x-country for part 135 regs are you flying jumpers
