For what aircraft???? Oh, yea, those RJ's MGMT has on the way........puff puff. What is the newest arrival date?

10/27/03 should be the date we get the first CRJ. We already have about 5 classes of pilots in training now and will add 2 more to that list the end of the month. Classes continue at a rate of approximatley one a week.

From latest union update:

PSA will begin the transition to our new CRJ-200 fleet in December with
flights linking Dayton to Washington National, LaGuardia, Philadelphia,
and Pittsburgh. Connecting service through Philadelphia will operate to
Ottawa and Richmond, Va., and connecting service through Pittsburgh will
continue on to Wilkes Barre/Scranton.

The CRJ-200 will be phased into service on other PSA routes based on the
aircraft delivery schedule. PSA's first two CRJ-200s are scheduled to
arrive later this month and will participate in proving flights and
training requirements before entering service in December. Another two
aircraft are scheduled to arrive in November, and deliveries will
continue at the rate of approximately three aircraft per month until
spring 2005. PSA will take delivery of 60 CRJ-200s in all.

The new CRJ-200s will double the size of our carrier's current fleet and
triple our passenger capacity. This expansion should create more than
500 new jobs, including positions for pilots, flight attendants, and
mechanics.

FWIW.....I just came back from the Bombardier factory. There are two PSA CRJ's in the final stages of production. I walked through A/C 206 (Serial #7860) currenly registered as C-FMLQ. It looks completely finished, but they are still running diagnostic tests on it.

A/C 202 was there as well...serial #7858 C-FMLF

Both are completely painted with the Operated By PSA painted right next to the cabin door.

Although not definite proof, it sure looks like they are coming.

Also saw an Air Wisconsin UAL ExpressCRJ as well as an Air Wisc. Airtran CRJ.

SKywest DL Connection was there too.

I used to work for Piedmont, I know work for Comair. You guys gave up a lot for a company that doesn't really care about you.

Sweet! I'm hoping they will allow me to place the cerimonial "First piece of Porn" into the yoke. It would be such an honor! :D
