PM Jedi Nein, she at one point had these on her site if I remember correctly and they were extremely well done.

YEAH I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT, BUT I CURRENTLY DON'T HAVE ONE WAITING ON OUR AIRPORT TO GET ANOTHER SHIPMENT OF BOOKS

Let's see, I went to yahoo and typed in "FAA Lesson Plan" and got 28,200 hits. Number four was Jedi Nein's web page.

How hard did you try to find any lesson plans?

It makes me wonder, ....... well I won't go there.

He is a college student asking a simple question for God sake, cut the kid some slack.

Isn't this a board where people can come and ask questions?. Kind of thought so.

A college student asks: "i was wondering if anyone has lesson plans online,"

-- A fair question. A student seeking knowledge. I applaud his efforts. Now what did that student do to answer his question other than ask for some one else to give him the answer? We don't know. I did a simple word search on "FAA Lesson plans" with 28.000 hits. I did a word search on "FAA-H-8083-9" (the number of the Aviation Instructors Handbook) and got 495 hits.) Some FAA manuals are on line and other people have lots of information just for the searching. Did I do anything that the student (who can use the internet) could not do? Or chose not to do?

A Poster suggests "I'm not being a smart ass but what about the layouts in the FOI?"

And gets an all caps response " YEAH I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT, BUT I CURRENTLY DON'T HAVE ONE WAITING ON OUR AIRPORT TO GET ANOTHER SHIPMENT OF BOOKS"

Ok, can you borrow a copy to look at? Is your caps button stuck on or are you yelling?

Tony I do not mind helping a student, but how about a little more effort than -- give me the answer.

As an instructor and any kind of professional pilot, you may agree, you will find a question that you will have to search for the answer. That is part of the learning process for the instructor. This allows you to be ready to answer the same question for the next student and to better your self as an instructor. So the CFI (or professional pilot) in training had better learn to look how/where now, because he may need it later.

Was my response curt? Yes it was. Show some effort and you may find more people assisting you because we have all been there. I did not see any one else posting any web sites. So if I misread his question, I apologize, then let me be the first to list a web site as a gift.

Is a little effort on the students part too much to ask?
