So far they are just saying "small plane" and "serious injuries" ... As we all know, a "small plane" could be a Gulfstream ???

Teb

Just looking at the live news, it was landing on RWY 1, it's located just off the right side of the RWY about 200 feet prior to the end, abeam of Taxiway Kilo...Looks to be a Merlin type....They're saying two aboard, and some injuries...

TETERBORO, N.J. -- A small plane crashed and burst into flames Tuesday morning at Teterboro Airport, injuring one of the two people on board, authorities said.

The plane, a Swearingen aircraft, was on final approach to the airport when the pilot reported engine problems, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

The plane crashed at the end of the runway at about 11:30 a.m. and burst into flames. The blaze was soon extinguished, police said.

Moonachie police said the injured person was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center. That person's condition was not immediately available.

The FAA Web site identified the plane as a multi-engine turbo-prop registered to Maci Leasing Corp. in Edison. There was no phone listing for such a business.

The accident was the third at Teterboro Airport this year. On Feb. 2, 20 people were injured when a corporate jet carrying 11 people skidded off a runway during an aborted takeoff, shot across a busy road and slammed into a warehouse.

On March 8, a business jet overshot a runway and stopped in snow and mud about 200 feet past the end of Runway 1. The two passengers and two crew members walked away uninjured.
