The newspaper article says the pilot's name was Leo Giles. Any Delta guys here know if this is the same guy that has repaired headsets for us forever? If so, I'm very sorry to hear this.

Geez, I was just down to his house two weeks ago. He was trying to figure out why my 750 was not working in the Airbus.
RIP, tailwinds always....

A true professional and a great guy........I just had him fix my headset just a month ago..............quick turn time and he would deliver the fixed item right to the lounge and if you needed it ASAP beacuse of a trip a day or so later, he would double-time it to get it done..

Prayers to his family and may his flight west be clear and smooth!!!

Very saddened. Leo taught a few Ops Specs classes at Delta when I was there. He was a very nice guy and very enthusiastic about Delta and aviation.

OMG! My husband just left his headset a couple weeks ago with him to be fixed! He had heard so many good things about this guy and the work he does.

How horrible! My sympathies & prayers go out to his family. :(
