Once again I had to carry a flight attendants bag up the three steps onto the crew bus for her because she couldn't do it. We have a number of fa's at my airline who fit into this category. Can't help but wonder how well she would be able to aid passengers in evacuating the aircraft in an emergency. Heck, could she even evacuate herself?

Don't mean to be cruel because I'm sure she needs her job just like I need mine but let's face it, when the crap hits the fan you gotta be able to perform.

Was it a male F/A? :)

Nothing says you HAVE to carry a F/As bagS! We have some at ASA who commute and carry 4-5 damn bags around on 4 day trips! I think they use one of those bags to stuff with free hotel supplies (toilet paper, napkins, etc) and food. Really screws it up for coworkers when these F/As rip off the hotels.

Now, don't you go dying on me now!

Have you ever seen the "dinosaurs" that DL mainline has on most flights across the Atlantic? Wow the crew need more wheelchairs than the passengers!

If you can't sling it, you shouldn't bring it.

We were waiting for our A/C to arrive. While we waited in the ops office, there were also half a dozen UAL F/A's sitting on the couch watching TV. Three of the 6 needed help to get up off the couch when it was time to go... Really don't know how they'd pull off an emergency evacuation?

Never should of let them start voting. I'm just sayin'. Look at all these problems the country has with this whole "women power", and "we don't need men mentality" It all started with suffrage.
