Hey,
I know im a little young,(22) i want to get out of ohio and i think i want to head to north carolina, can anyone tell me what kind of decent corporate jobs that are there? Ive got about 700 hours total time with 130 ME time and 60 hours SIC Jet in a ciation II, and i wouldnt be moving for another 2 years or so, i just thought id start networking now and see whats out there. I want to stay far away from the airlines because all i hear is depressing stories. Any help would be nice. Thanks

Build up your times and apply to citationshares - they have a base in NC (Greensboro regional is the closest one to Charlotte)...There are also a few 135 operators in NC - Ram Air Freight out of Raleigh/Durham comes to mind...

-LA

Medcenter Air flies out of CLT, and they have king airs & Citations

The young man wanted to know about corporate flight departments in North Carolina...not fractionals, or freight...

Family Dollar is one I know of. I met the crew in Midland around the time of Katrina, and they were flying a Bravo/Ultra...I think.

Part 91 clt area:

Foodlion, Saulsbury (sp?) Be 400
Roush Racing JQF i think
Nascar Jqf i think
Hendricks Racing JQF 1900's, Citations and Gulfstreams
SB Coffee (s&b or something like that at JQF Citation Bravo last I heard)
Bigger company at Monroe, KA 300, CIII and a Falcon, cannot remember the name though
Lear 45 also at Monroe, EQY
Lowes(Hard to get into)

Plus a bunch of others I cannot think of right now.

pt 135

Charter flight CLT, C550 and 560
Piedmont all over nc Citations King airs and Be 400's
Spitfire JQF KA's and Citations, a lear or two also I think
Med flight (Hard to get into)

Just a few, there are many more that I cannot remember the names of, call around to the airports and they can give you some info on who is based there.

Airport to get info for around CLT,

EQY, JQF, CLT, Rockhill, Salisbury.

Other high corporate habitats in NC

RDU, GSO, Winston Salem

Just about every company with a little bit of money has a King Air in NC.

Hope this helps.

1. Food Lion you need 1500TT and about 700 Multi with Turbine time to be looked at.
2. S&D Coffee is just not hiring. They're pilots have been there for years.
3. Last I heard Hendricks Racing was hiring about 2-3 guys. 4000TT 1500 Multi and a type rating in something.
4.Roush Racing is out of CLT. They fly B727's, need I say more?
5. Ram Ex has a base in JQF (Concord) Part 135 mins apply.
6. Spitfire has beefed up there Charter Department big time. I'm pretty sure they want 1000TT from when I work out at JQF.

Good luck Man! I've been looking too

Krispy Kreme still up in INT?

Read that they aren't doing very well company wide.

Probably not the best suggestion for you but it is another location than what has been posted.

Yes they are still at INT with one Lear 60 that is operated 91/135 on Landmark Aviation's 135 certificate. They just lost 2 pilots and currently only have 2 pilots on the aircraft with some contract help as well. After speaking with their CP the other day the company seems to have finally gotten all of the dirty laundry out and things are finally starting to turn around. I doubt they have any plans on hiring for that aircraft in the near future.

Childress Racing in Lexington: 336-956-1333. I believe that the CP is still Jim Metz, very nice guy. Not sure if they need anyone.

Anyone have ideas in the Greenville SC area???

Corporate, 135 or whatever...I don't have to worry
about minimums...unless they want pure jet time...
