Does anyone know if any corporate depts. are hiring in or near CLT. I live in Salisbury about 1 hour NE of CLT. Any information would be very helpful.

This position is a second-in-command position of a two-pilot flight crew flying Goodrich corporate aircraft. This position requires an exceptionally team-and-customer-oriented individual in order to ensure the highest standards of safe, reliable and efficient service in a corporate aviation environment. The responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to, the following:

Report directly to the Pilot-In-Command during all phases of flight operations.
Directly support the Pilot-In-Command in all crew decision-making processes as the PIC is directly responsible for and the final authority as to the safe operation of that aircraft.
Analyze, operate, monitor and appropriately respond to all aircraft operational functions in accordance with all applicable domestic and international regulations in addition to Goodrich SOPs.
Successfully complete periodic pilot re-certification training as prescribed under FAR 135, including initial and recurrent simulator training in all aircraft to be flown.
Utilize skills and procedures learned during simulator training to appropriately respond to abnormal and emergency situations.
Work various hours and days necessary to support company and charter aviation requirements.
When necessary, complete and submit various FAA reports, including pilot records, flight and duty sheets, flight logs and maintenance records when required.
Submit to mandatory, random substance abuse testing as specified in FAR 135.
Perform other ancillary duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot.

3 to 5 years corporate aviation experience (FAR 91 or FAR 135)
FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
Current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate
Minimum 4000 Hours Fixed-Wing
Minimum 1500 Hours PIC - Jet
Type Rating in either CE750 or CL604 (preferred)
International Flight Operations experience (preferred)
High School Diploma or Equivalent ' (Bachelors degree preferred)
No accidents, incidents or FAA sanctions within last five years (none preferred)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Strong computer skills to include both business and aviation-specific applications; Proficient in use of web-based resources for trip planning, navigation, fuel management, weather and international clearances

The Goodrich scope of flight operations is primarily North America and Europe and operated under the rules of FAR 91 and 135. All applicants must possess a current passport and be legally able to move freely throughout these areas.
