I liked the flying part of the video, but what was that large grey thing that holds all the planes?

Our most recent Carrier Qual det just got back from Homestead. They gave a few viper guys rides in the back of the T-45 out to the boat and back, and word is they all came back with huge sh!t eating grins. ;)

Oh yeah, I'd jump at a chance to exchange with you guys for a tour on the boat...just to get come cat shots under my belt. Looks like some crazy fun.

It seems the area around the Airport flooded and he Navy forgot to move;)

Forget that, what's all that blue stuff and what are those white puffy things?

The video lasted 3 minutes 30 seconds. How many times did the hornet have to tank in there?

ZING!

"The video lasted 3 minutes 30 seconds. How many times did the hornet have to tank in there?"

That's good stuff. Did you make that one up during your shooter tour? Oh, that's right, you've never been on a carrier or near a Hornet.

I kiiiid, I kiiiid.

Three... How many microwave burritos did you eat on your last flight?

Love it! :D

Ermmm...Rhinodriver...I didn't notice any Rhino's in your profile. What exactly were you thinking was a Rhino that you were driving? ;)

I'm thinking I should have seen: F-4x, Phantom, Double Ugly, Wild Weasel, Rhino...

These acft: "T-34, T-2, A-4, S-3, F/A-18E" although very cool in their own way, have no claims to being a Rhino. :)

<S>

What is the deal with the dudes visor? He should have kept it down so we didn't have to look at him :)

Nice vid apart from that though. Makes me want to go chase some clouds. I knew all along that that is what the Navy does all day.

Maj & Rhino, Settle down fellers. If having short legs is the worst thing we can say about you, you're doing pretty good. The record for burritos in one 12 hour flight is 11 but alas, I can't claim that one myself. BMD

That's a cool blue flightsuit. Don't get shot down, it would be hard to evade with that disco suit.

Talondriver, one more post like that and you're out of the club. :D

Weasel Keeper... F/A-18E Super Hornet known also in the Navy as the big slow grey animal "Rhino".

BMD... I say it out of love man! Don't dish it if you can't take it. 11 sounds kind of low to me. You need to come out to the boat and watch "feats of strength" sometime to be truly impressed!

Only One!

There is only 1 aircraft worthy of the RHINO moniker and that is the mighty F-4. All others are cheap imitations.

Cheap?

Cheap $60 million a copy imitations. But I digress... My new screen name will now be known as "the pilot formerly known as Rhinodriver" so as not to insult the delicate constitutions of any I may offend out there!

Actually it was probably from VFA-192 cause the Maces don't wear blue flight suits. The Golden dragons do on Fridays as I remember.

Hello,

Yeah, I thought it was VFA-27 because of the Eagle thing on his helmet. Are you CVw-5?
