Did anyone else see the FULL page color ad in USA Today yesterday? It asked for support while they are in contract talks, and in huge letters stated that pilots here only make $17,600 a year.
It was from ALPA I think, but WOW..! Good for them getting that out to the public who all think we are all overpaid Airline Pilots.

Who paid for that Ad? I think National ALPA. I guess the RJDC doesn't want to comment on ALPA actually doing something for the regional guys, huh? (Yeah, I know that is their job---and they are doing it....)

I believe CALALPA paid for that thru ALPA Nat'l funding.

CAL ALPA paid through its own MEC funding. This advertisement was not paid for using the $2 million of MCF funding that was recently approved.

Give them what they want!! The add is good. Time for somebody to get the word out to people so that we can put away the pilot pay stereotype.

Jetdriven,

The Mesa pay quote is for what equipment? Let's measure apples with apples. Secondly, Mesa pay has nothing to do with the Expressjet contract negotiation...it is only a distraction for people who are looking for a scapegoat if they don't get what they want.

I'm merely going to highlight this ignorant statement, someone else can explain it to Mr. Relic01.....
