Yep, I'm ACA. Furloughs for the bottom 150ish start in December. I last until January.
The furlough is a direct result of DALPA's unwillingness to give us scope relief for a couple of months. Since we had to retire the DoJets, we've got too many pilots until we get the A319s.
Interestingly, UAL has put Air Wisconsin's flying up for bids and has offered Independence a chance to bid. I look for it to probably go to the bottom feeders though.
We've been told that recalls may start as early as late summer 2005. Everybody go buy a FLYI ticket and get me back to work.
