The way he said it, sounded like it was company procedure. Not the most shocking thing I've ever heard of..
 
What if it were an airspeed miscompare? Sounds heck of a lot more professional than 99% of breifings I hear.

That is a way old video and may have been a mandatory abort in the ATR, I dont know, never flew it. That(or anything resembling that) is NOT a mandatory abort per our current policies.
 
I thought the capt did the departure briefing?

What is a EFIS COMP MON? Is that where both sides are giving conflicting information?
