From what I saw on the news clip, it looks like it was spoofing the show Lost. I don't see the conection to flt. 5191. Then again I didn't see the actual skit.

They don't even show a crash. Just bad turbulence and conan crawling over seatbacks and then up into the overhead compartment. He then walks onto a beach from the ocean. It spoofs Lost and about 5 other popular shows.
