Hello all. I need help. I need to show proof of at least 5 companies that REQUIRE a 737 type for either an interview or/and employment. Preferred/recommended won't work. Because I have to show proof email addresses showing requirements would be a huge help. I'm looking at all the "aviation job sites" they all want the same thing. "Pay us and we'll help." Well I paid and I'm waiting.

1) Southwest (I got that one)
2)
3)
4)
5)

Thanks! :D

Other than Southwest I can't think of any other airlines that
"require" a B-737 type rating.

I'm guessing you're trying to qualify for some sort of funding to
get the type rating.....

If it were me I'd take a look at some corporate flight dept's that
operate BBJ's. Maybe you could find some sort of job post listing a
737 type as a requirement for employment. Worth a shot.

Wish I could help more.
Good luck.

Is this so you can get WIA money? If so, what state are you in? I could use it too!!!
Try Hooters Air -- 888-FLY-HOOT Maybe they require it.

As MED said, if you look at the job postings for the agencies that hire ex-pats for foreign carriers operating 737's, it seems they ALL require a type rating to be considered for the job. Unfortunately, this also comes with"...current and XXXX hours in type...".

I don't know if New Zealand counts -

Every airline here except for one, "requires" you to have, or pay for your own type rating.

Plus the pay is very low...

We don't do this job for the money

This should be easy. Go to climbto350.com and look at their jobs board- apparently, you now need a membership to view the company; maybe someone with a membership can help you out with the details, or you can join (sounds like you're looking, anyway).

You should easily be able to find 4 more there, without even trying. I would suspect that you will need to list US companies hiring domestically, and US Companies that fill overseas contracts, (instead of just listing foreign companies) in order to make some US bureacrat happy.

Another option would be to get a list of BBJ operators, as someone suggested, either in the NBAA directory, or perhaps by searching the FAA database, and get them to ocnfirm they require a 737 type rating to work there (duh!).

Good Luck.
