Hey guys....hoping someone can help out a little.

I'm going to be LGA based for a little while and trying to figure out how to commute to the airport. Specifically, i'm looking for tips on getting from 30th and 10th in Manhattan to LGA, and from Valley Stream to LGA. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I've flown into LGA a thousand times, but only been off the airport a few times, so this might not be the best way, but it worked for me. I took the Q33 bus from the terminal to the 85th and Roosevelt subway then took the 7 train to Times Square. There are 2 or three busses that go straight to LGA. I beleive the M60 and the Q33. I'm not totally sure about those numbers, but you can go to the NYC subway website, I did a Google search and easily found bus and subway maps. Hope that helps.

I think your best bet from 30th and 10th is to take the E from Penn Station to Jackson Heights where you can make a free transfer to the Q33 bus. The E is express which is nice skipping all those stops in Queens.

If it's early in the morning or late in the evenings, you could take the 1 up to Columbia University or 125 St and then jump on the M60 bus, but it can take literally an hour to go crosstown at a busy time during the day.
