Does anybody on here commute to Mexico or Europe? Know of anyone who does? I'm interested in hearing your experiences with this. How realistic would it be? What kind of schedule would you need to make it work?

Thanks

I live and work outside the U.S. I don't commute. But I have several friends down here that work in the U.S. and Canada. They commute on a regular basis. Most of them are on long haul international flights so they only work like 10/12 days a month.
One guy works for a U.S. national, he has a tougher sched, but he still makes it. There is also a guy that is 30 on/30 off.
It depends on how much you like to travel on your off time and the connections.
It can be done.

I did it part time(while flying full time 121)and had to allow 3 days going to Euro and two days back flying a 757 for a part 91. Was alot of fun and good money, but sure was a long time away from home. I was flying long haul both jobs and only working 12 day for my US job and lots of vac. to burn up.Mobs

Hi!

I know a guy who commutes from YYZ (Toronto) to India. He is originally from India and flies for an airline based in India.

And sometimes I complain about my commute from GRB-DTW!!!
