I recently started working at XJT. I was trying to commute home from IAH to GEG through SEA. I got on the CAL flight jumpseat to SEA just fine. When I tried to get to GEG from SEA I tried Hoizon, Alaska, and United. (Sky W.) They all told me that I was not available to ride the jumpseat. They are CASS members, why couldn't I get on? I ended up buying an ID 90 ticket. Does anyone know something I dont? How long do you have to wait from date of hire untill your in the CASS system?

I need to commute to CLE on 3-5 and now I'm worried about being able to jumpseat. Theres a Northwest flight that would be the easiest. Does anyone know if theres a way to check to see if they will let me jumpseat before I get there?

Last question how do you check the pax loads on other carriers?
