Looking to commute to EWR. Just looking for an alternative to ATL. I live closer to GSP than ATL. Commuter parking at ATL is only $55 a month. I'm sure there is some airline employee parking at GSP that is cheaper and easier than ATL.
EWR is only served by COEX from GSP. One in the morning, one around noon and another about 6pm. They're all 50 seat ERJs. When I was a supervisor for COEX their, the morning flight was usually about 3/4 full, the noon about 1/2 full and the 6pm usually was close to full...if not overbooked. Sundays, Mondays and Fridays were always the busiest days. There are a few guys (some on this forum) who commute from GSP to EWR and IAH on COEX...who might be able to help you out more. The parking garage at GSP is now $9 a day and remote is $7. Personally, I'd only use GSP as a backup considering how many more flights to EWR there are out of ATL (on CAL and DAL).
BritPilot, any insight?
Cheers
I think DCI is going to also be flying from GSP to JFK starting sometime this summer. GSP if I am not mistaken doesn't have a commuter parking lot, atleast when I checked back in '99. Therefore it could be expensive to park there.....Here is a link to the airport to get some info.. http://www.gspairport.com/park.html
Also I would check with the station manager for your airline there at GSP. They should be able to help you out. Where are you driving from anyway?
Good Luck.....

When you drive up to GSP,if you park in the parking garage on the right,it's $1.50/day with airline ID.We fly 3 times a day GSP-LGA,if it's any help. There is a bus from LGA-EWR,I think it's $10 each way,$17 round trip.
