Has anyone in the upper-midwest or East Coast attempted commuting to Toronto Canada? The flight time is actually quite short... seems doable for the Mesaba/Pinnacle guys especially.
You can do it on Air Canada, too. CAs carry paper JS tickets that you'll have to fill out. Can't actually ride the J/S, but O.K. in the back space-A. Gotta call 800-413-1113, option 7 for reciprocol j/s listing.
I knew a guy who commuted between YYZ and LGA. He even sat reserve at home (YYZ) based in LGA. He was kinda ballsy (sp) about it, but he never got burned.
I JS on NWA sometimes on that route-no problem (NWA has 2 JS lists: The domestic list includes 50 states and Canada). The drive time, airport to airport, is about 4.5 hours, depending on how long the bridge vs. tunnel takes. To get from YYZ to downtown, take the rocket bus, which goes direct from YYZ to the west end station of the subway line. Then you're in the system and can go anywhere via subway/bus/streetcar.
