This is due to the grounding of about 4 airplanes, the ESOP lawsuit, which is in the trial phase and not looking good for the defendendts.
I hardly doubt FOs that have been there for less than 6 months and leaving are as concerned with the above than they are enthused about the prospect of flying an RJ for industry leading pay.
As for the lawsuit, it's anyone's guess, but I would say there is very little, if no chance, that an unfavorable ruling (against the owners) will shut the doors overnight. It's a viable, somewhat profitable business (some would argue that it's very profitable, depends on which side you're on). Perhaps the Captains in the lawsuit will get to run things.
In any case, if you're looking to upgrade quickly and don't mind hand flying in the northeast, throw you resume in and get yur first 121 job.
