I have my single-engine land intstrument rating and am going for the single-engine land commercial soon. I was just wondering if you had to shoot any instrument approaches or do any holding patterns.
 
If you don;t already have it, get a copy of the PTS. It lays out all the requirements for the practical. Not knowing the PTS requirements while you are training will put you at a severe disadvantage.
