Being owned by Delta means everything!

Apparantly when they were painting the airplane the painters discovered the new "CONNECTION" font would not fit properly (i.e. legally) across the service door, on the right side of the aircraft, without changing the font size or moving it in relation with "DELTA". I guess Delta decided it was better to leave it off entirely than to change the DCI corporate logo. "CONNECTION" appears on the left side of the aircraft.

How many CR9s for Comair?

How many CR9s will Comair get through the end of the year and total? Anyone know how the performance differs from a standard 200 or even the 700?

DrewBlows is correct regarding the inability to place the word "connection" on the right side vs. the placement of the service door. It still has it on the left side as he notes.

As far as performance, with the EPP "Enhanced Performance Package", the performance is very similar to the "700". Remember that they have the first class section, so they will only seat 76 pax vs 84 of the all economy class "900", ie, thrust to wt ratio is similar...

Re: ERJ...just about did a face plant into the side wall my first time riding on one. What's with the step up to get into your row from the aisle?

CRJ200-Pig. CRJ700-Rocket CRJ900-More of a Rocket. 900 outperforms the 700 by a hair, but still noticable.
