Some ground instructors do come from the outside. Eventually, some of them become pilots, or move to other positions within the company. I'm sorry that I don't know how to apply for them, but why don't you just call and ask?

Its probably been said before but a.) Does Comair require resignation of seniority number for furloughs? b.) With all this growth will lower time guys like myself have a better chance than say ASA or Air Wisky especially with the new year around the corner?

Anyone with current knowledge of time to upgrade.
If you have the time does the contract allow you to upgrade over pilots that do not have captain mins? Thanks.

Upgrade is about 2.5 years right now, and yes, you can skip over people who don't have the time. You'lle be in reserve forever, though!!
