I was wondering what the relationship between D and WO
was on an operational level. I was under the impression that if D said go somewhere, that you had to go.

West coast hub/base????

That's not too far fetched.

Prior to the strike, a chief pilots' update briefly discussed an operation out of LAX. D approached CMR about it, but CMR said no because of the lack of airplanes and crews within the time frame D wanted.

Movement west seems the only logical D ) move since operations to the east are pretty crowded and MCO will belong to Chataqua this fall. Skydiverdriver mentioned seeing something in writing that a DFW base would happen, but I haven't seen it.

It's in the read book for this month. Same memo talks about closing MCO as a base, and Chataqua coming in. Also, it's posted on the ALPA Comair board. Cheers.
