Who can give numbers as far as current a/c on property and how many a/c are they going to lose and when?

Comair still loosing 2 CRJ-700s to ASA next month. ASA recieving 4 CRJ-200s, but source has not been named. My guess: Comair.

The only new airframes are the 2 CR7s next month. BH spoke of four A/C worth of flying not four new CR2s coming online.

His letter indicates air frames, not block hours; however I think you're probably right. It would seem rather strange to transfer 50 seaters.

Wow! From a fleet that was once near 170!

As of now by the end of 2008 Comair will have a fleet of 85 CRJ-100/200; 15 CRJ-700; and 13 CRJ-900. Last -900 will be delivered in JAN 09.

Yep, 174 aircraft on property going into bankruptcy. We lost our first 30 shortly after DL announced that Freedom would start flying 30 fifty seat jets for DL (and yes, that made us a little bitter). The bleeding hasn't stopped since and probably won't until we are sold and given a "contract" like every other DCI carrier or we are liquidated.

I was there for 8 1/2 years of the bitterness! The only happy times I had at Comair were the few months after the strike until 9/11.
