Anyone have experience in both systems? I have 1200 hours with the 5000, but none with the 6000. Will I be able to hop into a 6000-equipped airplane and use it with little to no difficulty? What are the major differences?
I'm currently flying both and the only major difference is button location. Other than that it is all in what the aircraft manufacturer wanted in the box. Most difference is in what performance it will calculate and the Afis menu. If you can run the 5000 you can stumble through the 6000 as well.
